Guys and girls, which Vocation in the SAF you respect the most?
Other than the most well-known commando, I want to know how people
rank other vocations in terms of respect. Below are some examples
of vocation other than commando:
Infantry trooper
Scout(Armour, guards, infantry)
Reconnaissance(Armour, guards, infantry)
Guards
Signals
Artillery
Armour
How each person define respect can be different.
For example, some define respect as to how long each soldier
spend their time as a trainee on course, how tough the course ,
what kind of things different vocation soldiers do in their course
and unit etc.
For me personally I feel that the toughest vocation other than
commando is Scout and BRC. Their course is long, their training is
tough and the risk they are exposed to during war is no different
from commandos who storm into the enemy territory first and
extricate last. Please share your thoughts.
